Terms & Conditons

Is between the Client and Hugo & Elliot ltd. It covers the ordering and purchasing of wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, accessories and services described on the order form.

Your invoice must be paid in full when the product arrives in store and before items are collected.

An order is confirmed when the client has paid Hugo & Elliot the required 1st payment/deposits. By paying, the client is accepting the terms and conditions set out.

Your invoice is split into two payments.

1st payment – the deposit payment (50% non-refundable) holds the current price of the garment. This must be paid prior to any garment being ordered.

2nd payment – the remaining balance. This is due on collection which must be within sixty days of the gown arrival.

If the event date is less than four months from the order date, the full amount must be paid on ordering.

If the client wishes to cancel their order, they must do so in writing, either by letter or email. The order is cancelled once Hugo & Elliot ltd has received the confirmation and responded to confirm so.

All 1st payments as stated are non-refundable

If the client wishes to postpone their payments for any reason, they must request this in email and Hugo & Elliot ltd will respond accordingly. All payments will be transferred to the new date, provided they are agreed by Hugo & Elliot Ltd. If this cannot be agreed then the original terms still stand.

If the client wishes to change their order, this must be done in writing by letter or email (text or social media is not accepted). Hugo and Elliot Bridal cannot guarantee that changes can be made. If a gown is confirmed as ‘In Production’ the order cannot be changed and point 1 applies.

If payment has been made, no refund will be given. If Hugo and Elliot Bridal agrees to change the order, this will be granted as credit on your account, redeemable against another wedding gown but only if the original gown is confirmed as not in production.

Garments cannot be released for fittings or alterations until paid for in full.

Alterations are not the responsibility of Hugo and Elliot Bridal and will be charged for separately.

If the payment is not made within the timescales detailed in point 2, this will be a breach of contract and the contract will be at an end.

In this case, any payments made to that date shall be retained. Any remaining balance will also be immediately payable.

Hugo and Elliot Bridal is entitled to reallocate stock without informing the client should the contract be treated as at an end. This clause is without prejudice to Hugo and Elliot Bridal’s rights to claim damages from the client in respect to any loss suffered.

All garments paid for in full must be collected once items arrive in store unless agreed otherwise with Hugo and Elliot Bridal.

Hugo and Elliot Bridal do not hold any responsibility for unforeseen circumstances. Hugo and Elliot Bridal cannot be held responsible for ‘Acts of God’ (Fire, Flood etc.), Government advice, pandemics, labour disputes, failure of payments or any other circumstance that prevents the promise of its services.

Hugo and Elliot Bridal reserve the right to review and update the terms and conditions periodically. Deposits paid, and your signature signifies yours acceptance of all terms listed in the above sections.
